Founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, USGA and PGA of America, Drive, Chip & Putt is a free nationwide skills competition whose winners play the National Finals at Augusta National on Golf Channel.

First Tee is a 501(c)(3) youth development organization that teaches golf alongside life skills through 150 chapters (plus international sites), each running programs at multiple local courses.

A 501(c)(3) tour founded in 2000 by local golf professionals and run by a parent board since 2003, the LCJGT emphasizes Rules of Golf, pace of play and sportsmanship for central Pennsylvania juniors. Operating since the early 1960s, PBCJGA provides tournaments, instruction, leadership programs and community service for Palm Beach County juniors ages 4–18.

The Connecticut PGA's Junior Golf Association tour offers three levels of play from 9-hole development events to 36-hole Champions TOUR events, with membership including a GHIN handicap and Travelers Championship admission.

Founded in 1946, the Northern Ohio PGA's junior program runs nearly 40 tournaments a year around Cleveland, Akron and Toledo, from a 9-hole Futures Tour to 36-hole NextLevel events with AJGA, JGS and Junior Golf Hub recognition.

One of the largest junior golf programs in the country, with roughly 4,000 members and 450+ tournaments a year across Texas north of Austin. Four tiers let a first-time tournament player start on a free 9-hole tour and climb to nationally competitive fields.

The Pacific Northwest PGA does not run a junior tour; it hosts the PNW Junior PGA Championship (national qualifier), supports PGA Jr. League and DCP, and points juniors to the Washington Junior Golf Association and Oregon Junior Golf.

The South Central PGA Junior Tour and Players Tour run summer one-day stroke-play events across Oklahoma, Arkansas and southern Kansas for ages 9–18.

The Southern Ohio PGA Junior Tour stages roughly 35 tournaments from April to late July across Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus, with 36-hole Player's Series events carrying AJGA and JGS designations.

The Southern Texas PGA's junior program covers Houston, Austin, San Antonio and South Texas with 500+ playing opportunities a year. Membership includes a GHIN handicap (10+) and Legends Junior Tour membership (12+).

For over 30 years the Southwest PGA Junior Prep Tour has run inexpensive one-day district events across Arizona and Southern Nevada for ages 5–18, a feeder for the JGAA and AJGA.

With 1,200+ members and about 100 tournaments a year, the South Florida PGA Junior Tour offers three tiers from 9-hole Links events to 36-hole Medalist championships across the section.

Run out of Sun Country Golf House (home of the Sun Country PGA Section and Sun Country Amateur Golf Association), the Sun Country Junior Tour offers about 40 events a year for ages 7–18 in New Mexico and El Paso, Texas.

The Utah Section PGA runs a Junior Series with an Itty Bitty/Linksters track for ages 4–12, a JET Tournament Series for 13–18 and a Majors Series, alongside Junior PGA qualifying and PGA Jr. League.

The Western New York PGA Jr. Tour offers eight divisions from 9-hole developmental play to 18-hole Players divisions across Buffalo, Rochester and the Southern Tier, with Canadian juniors welcome.

The Wisconsin PGA's junior foundation runs a layered schedule from Par 3 events to the Players Tour, with membership that includes a WSGA handicap and Youth on Course access.

The Alaska Golf Association offers a 100% free junior membership for golfers 18 and under, including a USGA Handicap Index, GHIN app access and eligibility for AGA state and regional events at courses such as Palmer, Moose Run, Settlers Bay and Anchorage GC. Specific junior championship names are not published.

The Arkansas State Golf Association's junior program runs two-round championships across a September-to-July season, submitting results to Junior Golf Scoreboard and the AJGA. Player of the Year points are tracked by graduation class.

The Mississippi Golf Association's BankPlus Junior Tour gives roughly 300 juniors a summer of competition across five boys' and four girls' age divisions, with Player of the Year points and a pathway to the Mississippi Junior Amateur. A $30 MJGA membership is required.

The WVGA operates the Callaway Junior Tour as the premier platform for West Virginia juniors, with a CJRT Rookie League for newcomers, a youth golfer roadmap and Team West Virginia for the USNDP. The WVGA also oversees First Tee – West Virginia.

The CDGA's junior offering is built around its Youth Membership (ages 6–18) with Youth on Course $5 rounds at 60+ Chicago-area courses and a USGA handicap, plus USGA junior qualifiers and the new Team Illinois for the U.S. National Development Program. Ranked tour play in Illinois is run by separate junior organizations.

Central Links Golf, the allied association for the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line, runs junior tours with a Junior Tour Membership program and season-long junior points lists. Schedules are posted on its junior golf schedule page.

The Carolinas Golf Association conducts the region's premier junior championships for North and South Carolina and publishes boys' and girls' rankings for both states. Day-to-day tour play is delivered through its junior division TYGA (NC) and partner SCJGA (SC).

The Colorado Golf Association runs the state's junior championships and a Youth on Course membership ($50 a year for ages 6–18) giving unlimited rounds for $5 or less at participating courses. The former Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado tour was wound down in 2022; competitive junior events in Colorado now run through the CGA championships and the Colorado PGA Junior Tour.

The Connecticut State Golf Association conducts the Connecticut Junior Amateur and offers Youth on Course membership; the CSGA site does not publish a dedicated junior tour. Other Connecticut junior events on the calendar include the Borck Junior, Northern Junior and the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship.

The North Dakota Golf Association links juniors to the Bismarck-based Dakotas Junior Golf Association, which aims to be the premier junior organization in the Upper Midwest through instruction, competition and a tour membership. Program details such as fees and age divisions are not published on its main pages.

The Delaware State Golf Association conducts the Delaware Junior Championship, the state's junior title for boys and girls. Delaware juniors also compete in Golf Association of Philadelphia junior events, which cover the Philadelphia region and Delaware.

The FSGA's Florida Junior Tour runs more than 40 affordable competitions across Florida each year for boys and girls 9–18, capped by the FJT Tour Championship. An FSGA junior membership and an active Florida GHIN handicap are required to enter.

The Golf Association of Michigan offers a free junior membership (ages 6–18) that unlocks GAM junior tournaments, a USGA handicap and GHIN stat tracking, with optional $35 Youth on Course access. GAM expanded its junior tournament offerings for 2026.

GAP's junior program centers on the Lawler Junior Tour for boys and girls 10–18, culminating in the Junior Tournament of Champions, alongside the Junior Boys' and Junior-Junior championships. The GAP Central Junior Series extends one-day events to central Pennsylvania.

The GSGA Junior Tour offers more than 30 competitions across Georgia for juniors of every level, organized into Spring, Summer and Fall series plus a Premier Player Series, Team Series and free Skills Challenge Series. Membership bundles GSGA membership, a handicap and Youth on Course.

The Hawaii State Golf Association points juniors to the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association, the statewide competitive body running island and state championships with a summer points ranking, alongside island associations (OJGA, MJGA, KJGA, BIJGA). HSGA itself hosts qualifiers such as the AJGA Imperial Hawaii Junior Classic.

The Idaho Golf Association's Idaho Junior Tour offers Prep, Championship and Masters tiers for boys and girls 8–18, with regional Player of the Year races and the three-day Idaho Junior Amateur as the flagship. Registration opens each March.

Indiana Golf's Howard Bailey Junior Golf Program (formerly the Pepsi/Mountain Dew Tour) offers more than 70 events statewide across Prep, Junior and Masters tours, with state junior championships open without membership. Schedules run on the Indiana Golf Foundation BlueGolf site.

The Iowa Golf Association conducts the Iowa Junior Amateur Championship and USGA qualifiers, and its Foundation supports Youth on Course in Iowa; the IGA's Junior Golf Center web hub was under construction at time of research. Weekly junior tour play in Iowa is run by the Iowa PGA Junior Golf Tour.

The JGA Tour is a collaborative junior tour run by the Alabama Golf Association and the Alabama–NW Florida PGA Section, designed to remove cost barriers for juniors 6–18 in Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. It feeds the three state junior championships and USGA/Junior PGA qualifiers.

AZ Golf's junior membership is delivered through Youth on Course ($40/yr with a handicap), while statewide junior competition is run by the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, which fields Arizona's Junior America's Cup teams and hosts NB3 national qualifiers. JGAA's full schedule is on BlueGolf.

The NCGA's Junior Tour of Northern California is a selective, handicap-gated tour (4.0 or lower for boys, 6.0 for girls) that runs two-day events for players 10–18 across Northern California. Members must complete a rules and etiquette curriculum before entering.

The Kansas Golf Association conducts the Kansas Junior Amateur and Junior Match Play, the state's junior championships. Kansas City-area juniors also compete through Central Links Golf's junior program.

Golf House Kentucky, the umbrella for the Kentucky Golf Association and Kentucky PGA, runs the state's junior tour and the Kentucky Junior Amateur. A $100 membership unlocks the full calendar, with no membership deadline.

Founded in 2005, the Legends Junior Tour is the TGA's elite junior circuit and the top tier of the Texas Junior Golf Alliance with the two Texas PGA sections. Roughly 15 open, major and invitational events run statewide on acclaimed courses.

The LGA's Louisiana Junior Golf Tour is open to juniors 11–18 of all skill levels for a $175 annual membership that bundles LGA membership, a GHIN handicap, tee gifts and scholarship eligibility. Membership is not required for USGA qualifiers or the Louisiana Junior and Girls' Junior Amateurs.

Maine Golf conducts the Maine Junior Championship and a Junior Player of the Year race, and coordinates youth programming with First Tee Maine, PGA Jr. League, the Wee Golfer program and Youth on Course. Fees and event counts are published in its annual program brochure.

Mass Golf conducts the Massachusetts Junior Amateur, one of the country's oldest junior championships, with statewide qualifying and a Pre-Junior (15 & under) division inside the championship proper. The Girls' Junior Amateur and Young Golfers' Amateur round out the junior slate.

The Minnesota Golf Association conducts the state's Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' Championships (both June 22–24 in 2026) and selects Team Minnesota for the USGA's National Development Program. Regular tour play in Minnesota runs through the Minnesota PGA 'Sota Series.

The Metropolitan Golf Association Foundation runs a small slate of prestigious junior championships for the New York metro area, headlined by the Met Junior, the nation's oldest junior championship. Team New York for the USNDP is also administered with the MGA.

The Montana State Golf Association's junior season centers on five regional qualifiers leading to the 54-hole Montana State Junior Championship for resident juniors, won in 2026 by John Gilbert and Cate Leydig. Exempt players receive invitations each May 1.

The Maryland State Golf Association serves juniors in Maryland and Washington, D.C. through a $25 Youth on Course membership that includes a handicap and eligibility for MSGA championships and one-day events, plus Team Maryland, a Junior Grant Program and scholarships.

Nebraska Junior Golf is the umbrella for all junior programs of the Nebraska Golf Association and Nebraska PGA, born from the Nebraska Junior Golf Tour in 2009. It runs Spring, Summer and Fall series with tour championships, plus Drive Chip & Putt, PGA Jr. League and NB3 exemptions.

Nevada Golf conducts the Nevada State Junior Championship and USGA qualifiers, with regional tour play delivered through the Northern Nevada Junior Golf Association and Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association. A juniors membership and Youth on Course access are offered.

The New Hampshire Golf Association's Junior Tour is one of the most affordable in the country: $30 to join and $15–$25 per event, with players choosing Birdie, Prep or Elite divisions by the yardage they prefer. A Mini Series and Spring Series extend play beyond the summer.

NJ Golf runs a compact but historic junior slate: the W.Y. Dear Junior and Boys Championships, the Junior Girls' Championship and the new Cronheim Cup junior stroke play invitational, backed by free junior handicaps, Youth on Course and Team New Jersey for the USNDP.

NOGA, the allied association for Northern Ohio, runs Scratch and Net series, public tournaments, a Toledo series and USGA qualifiers, but does not publish a dedicated junior tour. Its youth-facing programs are the Evans Scholars caddie pathway and USGA junior qualifying.

The New York State Golf Association conducts the NYS Junior Amateur and Girls' Junior Championship, offers free junior handicaps and Youth on Course, and co-administers Team New York with the Metropolitan Golf Association. It also publishes a statewide junior tournament calendar.

The Oregon Golf Association runs one of the fuller state-association junior calendars: a $40 membership opens roughly 20+ Summer Series events, a Bandon Dunes Winter Series, beginner EJ Play Days and three majors led by the Bob Norquist Oregon Junior Amateur. Team matches and USGA qualifiers round out the season.

The Ohio Golf Association's junior program is centered on the three-day Ohio Junior Championship, won in 2026 by Matthew Kreusch at Shaker Run, plus USGA junior qualifying. Weekly junior tours in Ohio are run by the PGA sections and regional junior associations.

The Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour operates in cooperation with the Oklahoma Golf Association, staging about 18 tournaments a year from spring kickoffs to fall championships, scheduled regionally to minimize travel. Player of the Year points feed invitations to the Red River Team Challenge.

The Pennsylvania Golf Association conducts the statewide Junior Boys' and Junior Girls' Championships each June alongside a Junior Team Championship, and selects the PA State Junior Team for the USNDP. Regional junior tours in Pennsylvania are run by GAP and the WPGA.

The Rochester District Golf Association offers a $40 junior membership for ages 7–18 that bundles Youth on Course $5 rounds at 13+ local courses with access to RDGA junior events, headlined by the RDGA Junior Championships at Locust Hill. The season runs May through October.

The Rhode Island Golf Association conducts the Rhode Island Junior Amateur, the state junior championship, and Rhode Island juniors also feed into the New England Junior Amateur.

SCGA Junior is the SCGA's junior golf foundation, focused on access and development: the SCGA Junior Golf Club (with Youth on Course $1–$5 rounds at 130+ SoCal courses), Player & Youth Development classes, Girls Golf chapters and scholarships. Competitive tour play in Southern California is run by the separate SCPGA Junior Tour.

The SDGA Junior Tour, presented by the Sanford International, stages 26 events across South Dakota for ages 6–18 under a single $79 membership. Regional points leaders advance to the Junior Tour Cup and earn guest invitations to the Sanford International finals.

Named for Brandt Snedeker, the Sneds Tour is Tennessee's statewide junior tour for boys and girls 4–19 with Micro, Tour, Masters, Prep and Elite divisions placed by age and scoring average. Registration for each season opens January 2.

SCJGA is South Carolina's statewide junior body and a Carolinas Golf Association partner, with a five-level pathway from the Hootie Series up to national events. It maintains the Heritage Classic Foundation Rankings and names a Player of the Year.

The Missouri Golf Association's Missouri Junior Golf Foundation runs the Stan Utley Junior Tour for ages 8–18 plus the Junior Amateur and Junior Match Play championships, operating from the Ken Lanning Golf Center in Jefferson City. Registration runs through Golf Genius.

Sun Country Golf House, home to both the Sun Country Amateur Golf Association and Sun Country PGA, runs a combined junior tour for New Mexico and West Texas with 400+ members and roughly 30 events, including national qualifiers. Several events carry AJGA and JGS designations.

TYGA is the Carolinas Golf Association's North Carolina junior division, running TYGA Tots, One-Day and Multi-Day events for boys and girls 6–18 in separate age groups. It is the main entry point into competitive golf in North Carolina.

The Utah Junior Golf Association, a nonprofit founded in 1984, is Utah's competitive junior tour and conducts the Utah State Junior Amateur, which offers spots into the UGA Utah State Amateur. Rankings run on Player Performance Ranking points.

The Vermont Golf Association's Turner Piping & Refrigeration Vermont Junior Tour offers four divisions (boys and girls 10–14 and 15–18) with a free junior GHIN membership and Golf Genius registration. The Vermont Junior Amateur and New England Junior Amateur are the season's championships.

The VSGA Junior Golf Circuit is Virginia's statewide junior tour with three tiers of events (9, 18 and 36 holes) run by regional coordinators, all under a $40 membership that includes a handicap and Youth on Course. Player Rankings divisions feed exemptions into VSGA junior championships.

WA Golf channels juniors into Youth on Course membership and WJGA tournaments; the Washington Junior Golf Association organizes six districts across Washington, northern Idaho and northeast Oregon with a competitive season from late June to early August. The WJGA State Championship is the marquee event.

The WPGA does not run a named junior tour but conducts Western Pennsylvania's most prestigious junior events: the West Penn Junior Championship (held since 1921, with alumni including Arnold Palmer), the West Penn Boys Championship and invitational match plays for the top 16 boys and girls.

The Wisconsin State Golf Association conducts the state junior championships and offers Youth on Course membership, while weekly tour play in Wisconsin runs through the WPGA Junior Golf Foundation Junior Tour. WSGA schedules are hosted on BlueGolf.

The Wyoming State Golf Association's WJGT gives juniors under 19 a statewide schedule culminating in the Wyoming Junior Amateur Championship, with top finishers earning places on Wyoming's Junior America's Cup teams. The $40 Junior Club includes Youth on Course $5 rounds.

Long known as the Alabama Junior Golf Organization, this independent tour rebranded as Apex Junior Golf after adding a Georgia division. It runs about 38 two-day events a year at premier Alabama and west-Georgia courses for juniors 12–19 of all skill levels.

Run by the Louisville-based Bluegrass Golf Foundation (501(c)(3), est. 2018), the BGT stages 60+ events across Kentucky with 9-hole and 18-hole divisions, JGS-ranked 36-hole championships and special events like the Cullan Brown Invitational.

A newer Carolinas junior series listed with a half-dozen 2026 North Carolina events and a 2nd annual Grayson Murray National Championship at Mid Pines in Southern Pines (Aug 4–5, 2026).

Michigan's largest independent junior tour, entering its 33rd season in 2026 with 40 tournaments statewide from Grand Haven to Ann Arbor and a Meijer Cup match-play finale.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Lemont, IL that runs 100+ junior events a year across three divisions: Youth Development Program (8–13), Playing Member (14–18) and the elite Mid-American Junior Golf Tour (12–18).

Northern California's independent junior association since 1970, running 70+ tournaments a year from Sacramento to Monterey with AJGA, JGS, JWQ, TUGR and USNDP-tagged events.

The IJGA's elite tour for 'exceptionally talented' Midwest juniors, with 14 two-day events in 2026 at private and championship courses in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Founded in 2020 in Columbia, Tennessee, the Mid-South Golf Series runs about 50 events a year, including four majors, across Middle Tennessee and North Alabama on a deliberately low-cost model with no tiered entry. Two-day events count toward JGS, TUGR and JGR rankings when fields meet minimums.

The official North American partner of the Faldo Series, NXXT runs WAGR-rated and JGS-ranked events in Florida and Georgia, with a six-event summer College Pathway Series at Bishops Gate and a North American Championship at Streamsong. Division winners advance to Sir Nick Faldo's Asia Grand Final in Vietnam.

A girls-only tour run by the non-profit Girls Golf of America out of Greensboro, NC, the PKBGT stages more than 110 tournaments a year across nine East Coast states. Players compete in yardage-based divisions (Discovery, Futures, Prep, Bell National) rather than age brackets so they can move up as their game grows.

Based in Erie, Penn Ohio Junior Golf operates the North Coast Junior Tour in northwestern Pennsylvania (14th season in 2026) and the Great Lakes Junior Golf Tour in northeastern Ohio (36th year). One membership covers both tours, and 13 events on the annual schedule are posted to Junior Golf Scoreboard.

Sister tour of the Texas Junior Golf Tour, headquartered in Irving, TX, that runs 14 Washington events plus Oregon, Las Vegas and Tucson stops aimed at college exposure.

Founded in 1994 and based in Auburn, Alabama, the SJGT is one of the Southeast's largest independent junior circuits, running roughly 35–40 two-day events a year across Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, the Florida panhandle and Tennessee. Membership is projected to top 1,000 players in its 31st season.

Parker, CO-based 501(c)(3) founded in 2022 to add high-quality 36-hole events for Colorado juniors, with AJGA PBE points and Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking on qualifying events.

Founded in Austin in 1989, the TJGT is the largest independent junior tour in Texas, running roughly 85 tournaments a year around Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio plus Red River (Oklahoma) and West Texas summer series. Events are nationally ranked and offer AJGA Performance Based Entry.

Founded in 2003 by Coach Danny Thomas, the Top 50 Scholarship Golf Tour runs 50+ events a year at country clubs and resorts in Michigan and Florida (with Ohio and South Carolina stops), most ranked by JGS and GJGR.

A nonprofit New England junior circuit founded in 1980 and formally established in 1983, running roughly two dozen major competitions plus a mini-tour for novice and intermediate players. Its calendar spans Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and a Bethpage stop in New York.

Family-owned since 1999 and centered on San Angelo and Abilene, the WTJCT bills itself as the most affordable junior tour in Texas, with 25+ spring/summer events plus a fall series across central and west Texas. Points races feed a July Tour Championship and year-end scholarships.
