Middle Atlantic PGA Junior Tour

The MAPGA Junior Tour covers Virginia, Maryland, DC and parts of West Virginia with a March–November schedule spanning 9-hole beginner events to 36-hole Championship Division tournaments that report to Junior Golf Scoreboard.

About MAPGA Junior

  • Four divisions from Mini Mulligans (7–10) to Championship (13–18)
  • Entry fees: 9-hole $35, 18-hole $75, 36-hole $150 for members (higher for non-members)
  • 36-hole Championship Division results appear on Junior Golf Scoreboard; pre-approved AJGA events uploaded separately
  • Player of the Year requires a minimum of three events; best five scores count
  • High-school graduates may play through Sept 1 after graduation

Best for: Mid-Atlantic juniors who want a wide range of levels close to home.

MSGA Junior Golf (Maryland State Golf Association)

The Maryland State Golf Association serves juniors in Maryland and Washington, D.C. through a $25 Youth on Course membership that includes a handicap and eligibility for MSGA championships and one-day events, plus Team Maryland, a Junior Grant Program and scholarships.

Peggy Kirk Bell Girls' Golf Tour

Regional tour

A girls-only tour run by the non-profit Girls Golf of America out of Greensboro, NC, the PKBGT stages more than 110 tournaments a year across nine East Coast states. Players compete in yardage-based divisions (Discovery, Futures, Prep, Bell National) rather than age brackets so they can move up as their game grows.

A Blacksburg-based junior series named for PGA Tour player Lanto Griffin, administered through Golf Genius by Blacksburg Country Club's head professional. First Tee Roanoke Valley lists it as offering 9-hole and 18-hole regional tournaments across southwest Virginia.

The Tri-State PGA's Isaly's Junior Golf Tour runs about 20 events plus a Player of the Year Championship for ages 8–18 around Pittsburgh, West Virginia and eastern Ohio.

The WVGA operates the Callaway Junior Tour as the premier platform for West Virginia juniors, with a CJRT Rookie League for newcomers, a youth golfer roadmap and Team West Virginia for the USNDP. The WVGA also oversees First Tee – West Virginia.
