The Rocky Mountain Foundation's PGA Junior Series stages 36-hole junior championships across Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and northern Nevada each summer, with the section Junior PGA Championship as the qualifier for nationals.

For over 30 years the Southwest PGA Junior Prep Tour has run inexpensive one-day district events across Arizona and Southern Nevada for ages 5–18, a feeder for the JGAA and AJGA.
