Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour runs one of the largest event calendars in junior golf, with two-day, 36-hole tournaments nearly every weekend across dozens of states. It is a popular first tour for families who want competitive multi-day events without a national travel budget, and results are ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard.

Future Champions Golf
Future Champions Golf (FCG) is one of the world's most established junior golf tournament organizations, offering a complete competitive pathway from a player's first tournament through elite junior golf, college golf, and opportunities at the professional level. Founded in San Diego, FCG runs 200+ tournaments and qualifiers a year with players from 40+ countries, topped by major championships like the FCG Callaway World Championship.

Finding the right level
How to pick a tour
Most families progress through tours rather than choosing one forever. Young players start with local one-day events or a kids tour such as FCG, move to two-day regional events like the HJGT once they can post scores in the 80s, and target AJGA qualifiers and Junior All-Star events when they are consistently competitive at the regional level. State golf association junior championships, listed under AmateurGolf.com events, sit alongside that ladder and are often the most affordable championship-quality events available.
Before any of these, most players spend a season or two on a local, PGA Section, or state association tour. Every state has a page listing them: find junior tours in your state.
